Journal Commons Logo

As J. Jeffers transformed the historical Milwaukee Journal Sentinel building into modern-day apartments in the heart of the Deer District, they needed a new logo and brand suitable for this iconic address. I created the new look inspired by the design and charm of 1920’s architecture, incorporating typography from the original Journal Sentinel front page, with a contemporary logo and branding fit for the new restoration.

And seeing it downtown on a 50 ft. sign is freaking awesome.
